Paper Problem: Electoral College
For our paper, address the following topics:
• What is the Electoral College?
• Why do we have the Electoral College?
• How does the Electoral College function? That is, specifically, how is a president elected?
• Does the Electoral College provide equal representation to all voters in presidential elections? Why or why not?
• Is the Electoral College fair to candidates from minor parties (i.e. not Democrats or Republicans)? Why or why not?
