Successful adaptive corporate cultures pay attention to stakeholders: customers, employees, and shareholders. How do the various interests of these stakeholders change in an era of off-shoring, outsourcing and/or global competition? Why do some U.S. corporate cultures succeed and some fail under these circumstances? What does the General Electric example tell us? What about Japanese or Chinese corporate examples?
