As you are reading about prosocial behavior and altruism this week, ask yourself, "Do I act in prosocial or altruistic ways?" And if not, why not? Think about your past, present and future questions as you react to what you are learning about why people do the things they do.

2. What evidence do you have to support how you see yourself?
3. Will this information influence your future behaviors, increasing or decreasing the likelihood that you will help others?
