Question: Is there a reason as to why chickens lay "egg" shaped eggs, as opposed to spherically shaped eggs (or a random shape)?

Question: Why do plant seeds often come in this same "egg" shape (e.g. avocado seeds), as opposed to a sphere?
Question: Is it a coincidence that avocado seeds and eggs are the same shape?
