Assignment: The Wall Of Shame And Fame
You will choose one American from each time period who you think belongs on the Wall of Shame and the Wall of Fame.
For each person you need
1. A brief bio who were they what did they do? One per time period for each Shame and Fame.
2. Why do they belong on the Wall of Shame or Fame?
3. They must be AMERICAN--so Hitler is out!
4. 14 PEOPLE TOTAL One per time period for each Shame and Fame
5. Find at least one or two cartoon per section that either criticizes or supports one of your shamers or famers
6. Quote your source--a URL will do for this assignment.
Time Periods in each section
1. The West and the Rise of the Great Debater 1870-1900
2. Industrialization and Progressivism 1890-1920
3. Imperialism and WWI 1990-1920
4. The Great Depression 1928-1940
5. WW2 1940-1945
6. The Cold War 1945-1980
7. The Modern Era 1970+
All the time periods overlap so be careful to look at what each person did.
Things you may not do:
1. YOU may not use Adolf Hitler because he isn't American so I will use him as an example
2. Copy and paste use your own words.......Plagiarism equals a ZERO!
3. Turn this project in late! Its due tomorrow-no excuses will be accepted!
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
