Why discrimination is an important issue for hrm

Assignment:

Discrimination is an important issue for HRM. In this question we discuss age discrimination. Specifically it is the group of workers over the age of 40. Age discrimination has been found in layoff situations as well as hiring older workers after a layoff - thus older workers have been unemployed for longer periods of time. Also since 2009 it has become more difficult for the plaintiff to show age bias when attempting to bring suit for age discrimination (see notes on the Gross v. FBL Financial Services case). Discuss age discrimination and the implications for older workers.

Your answer must be typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman font (size 12), one-inch margins on all sides, APA format and also include references.
