This assignment explores different types of sociological research and allows you to think about possible ethical issues that might be involved in each.

A one-to-two page (250-500 word) paper.
Step 1 - Write an essay response to the following questions:
Imagine you need to conduct sociological research about the connection between level of education and income. Name two possible methods you can use in your research.
Why did you choose these two methods? In other words, why do you think these methods would be better in exploring this question? Justify your position.
Are there any ethical issues you might need to watch for? Give one example per method.
In your response, make sure you have an introduction, one paragraph per method, one paragraph per ethical issue and a conclusion.
