Discussion: Impact on Life
Please post comments and opinions on the visual art form (type- painting, sculpture, photography etc.) that has had the most impact on your life. Please mention the name of the art form and the function of this art form in your life. Be sure to use "I" in your post. This is not just a description of a specific artwork or theme of art. Review the slide show "What is Art?" from Week One. Why did this chosen art form impact you or still impacts you? Post an artwork image and describe the media (material -paint, clay, etc.) used by artists when creating this art form. Be sure to view three initial posts and respond to the writers' comments. View first the Professor's post for clarification and as one of your replies for credit.
This post can be used for your Essay #3. You would need to include five photos with the essay and be sure it is a page long. This post does not need as much information as the essay. Please note the instruction state form not forms. Please choose one art form.
Remember anything specific regarding the form should be stated as: Example- The form......that has impacted my life is ......(painting or photography etc).and most specifically.......(theme or artist if you wish; landscape, photojournalism etc). Remember it is the form that you identify and explain about.
