Problem: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurological condition that impacts communication, social skills, and behavior (Amate & Luque, 2024). While often centered on the individual, its effects significantly influence family dynamics and emotional well-being, presenting unique challenges that demand attention and support. Caring for children with ASD is difficult due to its diverse and long-term characteristics, as well as the variety of co-occurring conditions (Alibekova et al., 2022). Families face challenges stemming from the child's communication and social deficits, limited self-care abilities, and societal barriers such as insufficient school support and resources (2022). Research indicates that parents of children with ASD, particularly mothers, face greater caregiver burden, stress, and financial difficulties Doda et al., 2024. Therefore, it is essential to equip parents with learning strategies to more effectively manage challenges related to ASD (2024). The proposed group, Empowered Families: ASD Parenting & Support Workshop, is a psychoeducational group designed to equip parents with knowledge, practical behavior management strategies, and emotional support to reduce caregiver stress and improve family functioning. The group structure consists of 1-hour sessions once a week for 8 weeks. Describe your approach to forming the group, including the type of group you are creating, how you will recruit, screen, and select members. Consider whom you might contact and how you will go about the process at your site. Detail the target population and need, the proposed. Need Assignment Help?
