In this course we will be working through the process of BA using a fictional project based on one of the following scenarios:
• Identify a need in your current company or industry - use your experience and publically available materials to generate a BA plan to meet the need.
• Select a company or industry that you are interested in - use publically available materials on an existing or past need to generate a BA plan.
For your selected organization and need, generate:
1. Industry Porter Model
2. Company SWOT Analysis
3. SMART goals related to the need
Discuss:
1. Brief overview of the company/industry
2. How does the company's industry position effect the potential action/solution?
3. How does the company's internal capabilities effect the potential action/solution?
4. Why are the SMART goals set at this level - how could they change?
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
1. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
