Regarding the partitioning of Antarctica and answer the following questions and respond to at least two of your classmates. Remember, for the most part the more effort you devote to the assignment = better grade:
a) Why are states interested in territorial claims in so remote and difficult an area?
b) Should the continent remain neutral (i.e. no mining/extraction, settlements, etc.)? Why or why not?
c) What, if anything has been done to curb potential territorial disputes thus far?
