Why are people dying every minute from needed organ

I'm having to write a definition argument paper on Organ Sell, Trade or Donation. I've started my paper but I don't know if I'm on the right or not can someone please help. ASAP here what I've written so far.

When people hear the word donation the first thing that comes to mind is how much and what is it. The second thing that pops up is, let do some of the spring cleanings, clear out the closet of old clothes, emptying the garage of things they haven't touched in months or years. What can we get rid of?  And the only places we think of donation to is the Good Well or Salvation Army. The meaning of "donation is to act or an instance of donating: such as 1. The making of a gift especially to a charity or public institution; 2 a free contribution" Merriam-Webster (2017).  By analyzing the definition, you can see that donating is a personal choice of giving when it's not necessary or required of you.  It's something done on free well. If donating money, time, and things you really don't need are that easy. Why are people dying every minute from needed organ transplants but there not enough organs to for the recipients waiting for the organs?
