Write a statement of need in 700 words that frames your selected topic in terms of:
- Health disparities present in the community impacted by your public health issue/disease
- Data, research, and professional perspectives that support the need for intervention (i.e., why does this need to be addressed)
- Which data sets and collection methods would be appropriate to address the issue and support an intervention?
- How epidemiologic data will support both needs assessment and program evaluation efforts?
Cite references to support your assignment. Two references are required. At least ONE must be scholarly.
