We have seen an increase of people getting arrested for acts of possessing, distributing, and producing child pornography. One of our more recent changes to the law has been to charge teenagers with crimes of child pornography for sending nude pictures of themselves. Do you believe that this law is too harsh in charging teenagers with producing and distributing child pornography because they sent a nude picture to their boyfriend or girlfriend? Who should be held accountable if the "fun" picture that was sent for "fun" ends up on the Internet? You must use two academic resources to support your opinion.
