Problem
Using Sandra Lee Bartky's readings as a point of reference, consider a specific experience you have had moving through the world as a gendered being (keeping in mind the ways in which sexuality, race, class, dis/ability, age, religion, nationality, or.... intersect with gender). Be thoughtful of how your experience may not be representative of the experiences of others (again, consider intersectionality!).
Conduct at least three paragraphs expressing your statement'about the significance of your work to feminism and/or the themes addressed in your selected course text.
Be creative and remember to stay critically engaged with course ideas. For example:
1) Meaning of your selected course text and/or your experience with this issue?
2) Who do you imagine as the 'ideal viewer' of your statement, and why?
3) How does your creation allow you or your audience to better understand your experience, its problems, or possible pathways to social change?
