For this assignment you will submit five (5) annotated sources that you plan to use for completing your final analytical report. Here are some things to consider:
- While there are several types of annotated bibliographies, for the purpose of this assignment your annotation should the Informative type. An informative annotation is essentially a straight summary of a book, article, lecture, or report that has been published in print or on a website. It focuses on key points the writer's key points.
- If your analytical report is in the humanities field use the MLA (Modern Language Association) format. Your list of annotations should be titled "Annotated List of Works Cited."
- If your analytical report is in the natural or social sciences use the APA (American Psychological Association) format. Your list of annotations should be titled "References."
- In the next Discussion you will see five examples of annotated bibliographies. These should give you a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for in this assignment.
