Discussion Post: Nutrition and Drugs

Here's a good one to ponder while out and about? Some cultures are very accepting of alcohol consumption while others find it taboo until you reach some age society has determined allows you to "control yourself." On the other side, we find the same strange condition concerning the operation of motorized vehicles.
Task:
Which would you rather have a restriction upon, alcohol consumption, or driving? Please provide a rational reason for your choice.
