Which strategy do you think would please the most

Is it a good strategy to limit production on a product in order to generate demand and increase your sales price? The Shelby GT500 is a classic example of this strategy. Ford intentionally limits production of the Shelby GT500 in order to keep demand at high levels, and then it is able to charge in increase amount for the cars while being able to sell every one of the cars. The 2011 and 2012 Shelbys were limited to roughly 5,500 cars. If Ford would have made 10,000 or 20,000, then they could lower the price on them and still sell all of them. Which strategy do you think is best? Should Ford increase production, sell more of the cars at a lower price, or should it limit production and sell fewer at a higher price? Which strategy do you think would please the most consumers?
