1. From what you know about symptoms and problems, do you think it is okay for a person to address a symptom of the problem first before determining all the underlying causes? Why or why not? When addressing this topic, think about work-related problems. Also, share an example of what you experienced in your current or a past job.
2. As noted in this week's overview and lecture, it is important to involve the stakeholders when resolving a problem. Pretend that you are a manager who oversees a large department. You've been told that customer satisfaction ratings are down and you need to increase the ratings by at least 10% within the next 60 days. Which stakeholders would you consult with? Why?
