Read Chapter 7: "Rhetorical Analysis of Written Texts" by Steven Wilhoit
1. Answer the questions in the section titled "Elements of a Rhetorical Situation"
2. Read the section of the chapter titled "Content." Which rhetorical strategies does Bulgakov employ in the chapter you chose to analyze? Does he use pathos, ethos or logos? Do you think that the genre of literary fiction is an effective means to communicate the author's message? Why or why not?
