Discussion Post: Sociology
The major sociological perspectives--functionalism, conflict theory, and interactionism, are the foundation of sociology.
Use at least 300 words to respond to the discussion questions below.
• Compare the functionalist, conflict, and interactionist perspectives. Give a specific example of one of the perspectives (you may use an example from the course material, or select your own).
• Which one of the three perspectives seems most useful to you in analyzing society? Why? Give a specific example to support your answer.
