Responses primarily supportive in nature do not meet the discussion assignment requirements. A discussion should include the following: State your understanding of the topic and its importance in a business environment. Discuss what you think, make a point. Examine your knowledge, beliefs and experience; this is a good way to provide support for your response. State what you wish you knew and/or solicit feedback from classmates (ie. ask questions).
Keep in mind that it is important to respond to the topic posed explaining the related concepts but it is equally important to think beyond the concepts and how they affect the organization. It is important to consider what management needs to consider in making decisions (both internally as well as externally).
