This week, you read about the principles of ethical communication set forth by the National Communication Association, which stress that ethical communication fosters dignity between human beings, as well as "truthfulness, fairness, responsibility, personal integrity, and respect for self and others" (O''Hair & Wiemann, 2015, p.14).

You also reviewed the NAEYC policy statement on ethical conduct. As a professional in the field of early childhood, ethics constantly impacts both your actions and the ways in which you communicate with children,families,colleagues, and community and government agencies.

Once more, review the principles of ethical communication listed on page 14 of your course text (O''Hair, D., Wiemann,2015)

Real Communication (3rd.ed)and the NAEYC policy statement.

Then consider how each might in form your practice in early childhood education as well as foster the well-being of young children and their families.
