This weekend I ran a 50 miler- my first ever! For future reference, most doctors agree that's not a great idea when you have bronchitis... but it gave me the opportunity to spend the day in the Cuyahoga Valley National Forest, which made me think of all of you and the journey we are on together to learn to preserve our beautiful planet. It also inspired me to share my favorite quote with you: "Walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet" - Thich Nhat Hanh, Vietnamese monk and peace activist.
