One of the most frequently asked questions in our society regarding the environment is "Paper or plastic or cloth or nothing" Corvallis has enacted legislation to enforce a particular political view, ie, no plastic, charge for paper, favor cloth, tolerate nothing. Do you agree with this decision? Why?
What is the economic impact of your decision? Does the answer to this question depend on the region of the country you are from?
Which decision is more environmentally sound? Relevant issues might include biodegradability, space taken up in landfills, use of CFCs in manufacture of the product, deforestation and its effect on global warming, resources used in manufacture, etc.
