Assignment Task:
A political action committee (PAC) wants to find out whether voters are happy with the political policies the group supports. To find out, it sends an e-mail survey to people who have made donations to the PAC in the past year. The PAC finds that people are, indeed, very happy with the political policies the PAC supports. What is the most glaring problem with the survey methodology?
There is nothing wrong with the methodology.
The sample is a convenience sample and is unlikely to generalize well to voters as a whole.
The participants probably did not take the survey seriously.
It is unlikely that participants would be able to understand the questions.
