when two rays of same frequency similar

When two rays of same frequency, similar wavelength, and similar speed moves in the same direction, their superimposition gives result in the interference. Due to interference the last intensity of sound at that position is dissimilar from the addition of intensities due to every wave separately. This change of intensity due to superposition of two or more rays is called as interference.
