Alpha Computing Corporation hires Ben under an 18 month contract to make changes to some new software that has not yet been released to the public. The contract required that Ben keep all information learned confidential and not disclose it to anyone. Ben works for a few months and then quits, after having access to the new software and other products under development by Alpha Computing. Ben begins working for Beta Corp., a competitor of Alpha, and shares with them Alpha?s new development ideas.
