In most conversations about diversity, race seems to be the first dimension of diversity that comes to mind. Think about this as you respond to the following questions in a 1-page journal reflection:
When did you first learn how you were different from other people in any way? When did this difference specifically become a racial consciousness?
When and where did you learn the characteristics that were applied to different racial groups, including your own? What were they?"
What can you do to change these stereotypical beliefs in order to become a better manager?
