What you see in the media that is what makes everyone unique

Problem:

Advertisements separate sex and gender between women and men to influence their audience to partake in certain activities. Some of these stereotypical ads can be promoting cosmetic surgery such as breast augmentation, nose reshaping, tummy tuck and facelift, and many others. Giving off a false narrative that if a woman doesn't have a huge bum or breast or flat stomach, or narrow straight nose she is not normal. If a man doesn't have huge biceps or six or eight packs he's not appealing or looks normal. These stereotypes can have broader implications on society causing depression, anxiety, feeling less than oneself, and being unnormal. Parents can meditate on these effects by increasing the confidence in their children, teenagers, and young adults letting them know that it is okay to look different from what you see in the media that is what makes everyone unique in their own special way.
