Your community is about to undertake a community health assessment and you have been tasked to review and improve the list of community health profile indicators proposed for this process. These include the Health People 2020 Leading Health indicators and the basic community health indicators proposed by the IOM:
1) Attain high-quality, longer lives free of preventable disease, disability, injury, and premature death.
2) Achieve health equity, eliminate disparities, and improve the health of all groups.
3) Create social and physical environments that promote good health for all.
4) Promote quality of life, healthy development, and healthy behaviors across all life stages.
Identify four indicators you would add to this list, based on what you know about the health status and needs of your community. Use Alameda County or San Francisco.
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
