Raewyn Connell developed the concept of hegemonic masculinity. Michael Kimmel, among others, investigated the crisis of masculinity and "angry white men." And Eric Anderson developed the concept of inclusive masculinity. Imagine you are responsible for coming up with a segment for the next Tough Guise documentary. You must create a 5-minute segment on hegemonic masculinity, the crisis of masculinity, or inclusive masculinity. What would your segment be about, who would you want to interview, and what media culture would you explore in those 5-minutes? Remember to define the concept with reference to Milestone and Meyer, Tough Guise 2, and/or my lectures. Provide justifications for your choices of popular culture with reference to the texts and film.
