What would you say and would you talk to anyone else

Discussion Post: Ethics in the Workplace

Review the readings this week as they relate to some theories as to why management is not a profession. Much of this is tied to the issue of ethics in business and the idea that those in non-professional designated positions have more opportunity or more leeway to be less ethical. One of the most common ethical situations that often arises is the issue of employees taking credit for each other's work. Consider a situation where you completed a major project for your boss that is intended to benefit the entire company. Your boss, however, presents your work to the executive committee as their own and takes all the credit for the project.

Discuss what you would do in this situation. Would you talk to your boss? What would you say? Would you talk to anyone else? Would you consider quitting your job? Why or why not?

The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
