Problem

Background: Penile rupture is a rare urologic emergency. Objective of the study: Report the presence of phimosis and priapism in a patient with penile rupture and review of the literature. Material and methods (case report): The case of a patient with psoriatic arthritis managed with long-term anti-inflammatory analgesics who suddenly presents penile edema, hematoma, develops severe phimosis and priapism, denies pain and penile injury through sexual activity is presented. ; A dorsal incision of the penis is made and priapism is managed with an intracavernous vasoconstrictor. 10 days later circumcision is performed and a rupture of the penis is identified, which is repaired with vicryl 2 zeros.

• Results: The evolution of the patient is good, without pain or penile curvature with normal erections and sexual activity.

• Discussion: Penile rupture associated with priapism and severe phimosis in a patient with no history of sexual activity and no pain may confuse the diagnosis.
