He is up to date on all vaccines Two weeks ago he had pyelonephritis. He is extremely irritable and crying more than usual. His parents state "his face is so swollen, He is hard to recognize ." Travis has 2+ edema in all 4 extremities and in his scrotum, plus periorbital edema. Mom states his "urine output has been less than normal and foamyHe has diarrhea and won't eat even his favorite foods. He threw up this morning after eating oatmeal and milk. Now he has pallor and is becoming more and more lethargic. Lung sounds: bilateral crackling RR 48 with dyspneaHR 150 Lab reports hypoalbuminemia, hyperlipidemia , hemoconcentration . 15grams of protein in his 24 hr urine Nephrotic syndrome.
