Watch the 1992 film "The Last of the Mohicans" starring Daniel Day-Lewis. The movie is based on the classic 1826 American novel if the same title by James Fenimore Cooper. The setting of the story is in 1757 in the middle of the French -and Indian war in the colony of New York.
Daniel Days-Lewis plays the main character in the story, Hawkeye (also known to others as Nathaniel), who was an adopted son of a Mohican native.
