Read the following article, paying close attention to the study design.

Give a brief explanation of the topic of the article. What were the researchers' aims in conducting the study? Summary of the main findings? Analyze the study design, including the strengths and weaknesses. What alternative design would you recommend under the same situation and why? Defend your answer.
