Q1.: The United States has tried to implement a democratic government in many countries in the Western Hemisphere since 1900. In some instances, we have worked alone and in others, we have had help. Identify one of these instances and whether or not we were successful in implementing democracy. What obstacles impeded our success in this endeavor?
