Problem
For Case Study, you will read parts 3 and 4 of the case study, "Studying Racial Bias: Too Hot to Handle?" by Jane Marantz Connor. Be sure to locate the article in the module and respond to the questions below.
• Summarize how the IRB evaluated the proposal. What were some of issues that the evaluators mentioned in their responses?
• Apply the APA Code of Ethics to the concerns that were addressed by the IRB.
• Apply the SLU Core Values to the concerns that were addressed by the IRB.
• How did the supporters of the research proposal respond to the IRB's concerns? Was their response justified?
• If you were a member of the IRB, would you approve the study as it, disapprove it, or request a modification? If you requested a modification, what changes would you require?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
