Watch the classic Citizen Kane. Be thinking about the entrepreneur, his personality, and the business. Is this an accurate story? The film is fiction but based on the real lives of newspaper magnates William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer. Are all entrepreneurs doomed to be like Kane? Is tragedy inevitable?
Questions to consider while you are watching the movie:
1) What was Kane's motivation to become a successful entrepreneur?
2) Are Rupert Murdoch and others just like the fictional Kane?
3) Is greed inevitable in the life of an entrepreneur?
4) In the words of another movie entrepreneur, is "greed good?
