Use the Internet to research financial planning for small businesses.
There is a wealth of information out there and most of it is sound advice. Select a source of information on financial planning for small businesses and/or small business owners. This can be an organization's website, blog, journal article, video, or news piece. Read the material carefully and be prepared to summarize the information for your classmates. The purpose of this discussion is to create a "list" of helpful sources that can be used to assist a small business owner in financial planning for success.
Initial Post: Share your source. Be sure to include as many details as possible about the source of your information, including the URL so that we can view the material. Summarize your research. This may be just one or two key points made in your source that you find particularly helpful. If you found an organization's website, then summarize what it provided. Remember, we want to steer away from anyone charging for their advice! What was a key takeaway from your research? In other words, what one thing did your research teach you?
