A piece of wood is 0.6 m long, 0.250 m wide and 0.080 m thick. The density of wood is 600 kg/m^3. What volume of lead must be fastened underneath it to sink the wood so that its top is just even with the water level? Use 11.3x10^3 kg/m^3 for the density of lead and 1.0x10^3 kg/m^3 for the density of water.
