Design a research strategy in order to answer a research question.
Scenario
You are a first-year graduate student. You are taking a graduate course on research and writing. In this homework, your professor has asked you to design a research strategy for a research question and write the Methods section of a research paper.
Instructions
In a paper for your professor, create a methods section for a research study:
i. State the research question and explain the research strategy for answering that question. Will it follow a quantitative, qualitative, or mixed method strategy? Explain why the strategy was chosen. If possible, use research to justify the choice.
ii. Detail the steps that will need to be followed for the above strategy and what will need to be considered.
iii. Explain the plan for collecting data:
iv. What type(s) of data will be collected and how much?
v. Where will you get data?
vi. How will the data be analyzed and interpreted?
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
