Prepare a p chart with average on-time departure percentage. The next day they had 34 on time flights. Is this within acceptable limits?
b) Police give speeding tickets to 24 drivers per month from its customers due to on a particular stretch of road. What type of control chart would you use to monitor this process? Create the appropriate three-sigma control chart. If they gave out thirty-seven ticktests in a subsequent month (with a similar level of enforcement effort) would there be reason to believe that more people are speeding on that road? Why?
