What two specific new policies might the United States enact to reduce its impact on global climate change.
My two policies were Carbon Tax Policy, and Alternative Energy. I need to respond to this.
In addition to carbon taxes for the fossil fuels, would another good idea would be to increase subsidies for alternative energy source at the same time?
That would stimulate the economy while we dealt with the decrease in the availability of fossil fuels (due to cost limitations).
Just think how much faster the technology would advance if there was more opportunities for them?
It has taken use forever to get more efficient solar panels, but this would go much fast if we were pressured to improve this technology, don't you think?
By having a combination of both, would allow for a faster recovery of the economy, in my opinion. What about you?
