Assignment:
I want you to think about the Las Vegas shooting, as well as the mass killings that have been in recent news. I've asked in other classes, "if this situation can happen in Las Vegas, can it happen anywhere? Why?" And we've seen it happen.
How would it be deterred somewhere else? What have other communities done to combat this type of situation? Use examples please! Try to tie back in what places have done over the course of the mass violence incidents we have gone through. Also, think about what things are in place after acts of terrorism and mass violence. How have prior incidents changed the models for post-violence recovery and resilience?
