Discussion Post: Reflective Writing
When reflecting on an experience (such as a classroom observation) you might address the following questions in your writing:
o Description - What happened?
o Analysis - Why did it happen? What were you feeling? What theories might help explain what happened? Are there other perspectives that challenge your views?
o Outcomes or Action - What did you learn? What would you do differently next time?
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
