The three branches of government all had different visions for Reconstruction. How were they different? Discuss what the Congress envisioned, what President Johnson wanted and what that brought him, and, finally, what the Supreme Court decided about Reconstruction. When writing about the Court, cite at least three cases that illustrate what the Court was thinking.
