Dr. Hart and Dr. Langberg have noted historically the church has fallen short in caring for two populations: those suffering from depression and survivors of sexual abuse. In light of these concerns, go to your Discussion Board Forum and post a thread of at least 300 words in response to these questions:
a) Have you personally observed either a lack of care or exemplary care for one of the populations listed above?
b) What teachings from this course and from scripture might be beneficial to share within a church context regarding the population?
c) How can the church shift to become an advocate for one of the populations listed above?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
