2. This week we are focusing on heroin addiction as a current and trending major issue for communities around the country. To what extent is the heroin epidemic impacting your community? What statistics are you finding? How do the issues as described compare with what you have read and viewed in this week's learning materials?
3. To what extent is marijuana legalization a current issue in your community (or state)? What is the debate? As you engage in discussions, be sure to talk about how the debates across communities and states vary or are similar. Together paint a picture of the "state of legalization" in this class.
4. Based on what we have discussed together so far this week, what actions are currently being taken to address these issues from the individual, family, and community perspective? What suggestions do you have that may be applicable to addressing one or more of these issues within the community context?
